Gotham Chamber Opera presents Daniel Catan's 1988 opera, La hija de Rappaccini (Rappaccini's Daughter), on Mondays, tonight, June 17 and 24, 2013 at 7pm at Brooklyn Botanic Garden (rain date June 25). Seating is by general admission on the lawn. Blankets and outside food will be permitted. Boxed picnic dinners will also be available for purchase.

Following the success of Halloween 2011?s Warehouse of Horrors, UglyRhino will return with six brand new stories and curated cocktails. With a similar format as the sold-out run of March's Centralia, the UglyRhino creative team has developed a new interactive warehouse experience, based on the true events from in and around the Brooklyn Lyceum, which will expand to include a haunted house element.

TinyRhino is UglyRhino's take on the ten-minute play evening. Each month we commission six short plays each including the same five dramatic elements. On the night of the performance, these elements are revealed to the audience as cues to drink.

The Howard Theatre, the historic arts landmark that launched the careers of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye and The Supremes, announces their grand re-opening after a $29 million renovation and a 32-year hiatus. The Howard Theatre will re-open the week of April 9 with an opening lineup that includes Wale, Wanda Sykes, The Roots, Robert Randolph, Taj Mahal, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def), Meshell Ndegeocello, Bad Brains, Chuck Brown, Chuck Berry, Esperanza Spalding and a weekly Sunday Brunch featuring the Harlem Gospel Choir.
