UglyRhino Productions will present TinyRhino: Hangover Edition tonight, March 18th at 8 p.m. TinyRhino: Hangover Edition is the perfect remedy for your post-St. Patty's Day hangover. Come join us for six brand new plays that take "the hair of the dog" very, very seriously.

TinyRhino is: The Theatrical Drinking Game. It is also UglyRhino's take on the ten-minute play festival. Every month we commission six playwrights to write new plays, each including the same five dramatic elements. They might show up at any time, in any order, and with any frequency. When they do show up, they are cues for the audience to drink.

This month's playwrights include: Susan Soon He Stanton (Takarazuka!!!, Clubbed Thumb), Boo Killebrew (The Play About My Dad, 59E59), Eric Lockley (Last Laugh, La MaMa), Catya McMullen (Missed Connection, Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival 2012 winner), Emily Lazzaro (Be The Dog, FringeNYC), and Jon Bass (currently playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon).

This month's directors include: Jason McDowell-Green (The Duck Pond, Williamstown), Axel Alvin Jr. (Underground, The Wild Project), Lee Sunday-Evans (The Play About My Dad, 59E59), Lillian Meredith (I Had a Dream, Bowery Electric), Noelle Ghoussaini (The Wall, Brooklyn Lyceum), and Adam Scott Mazer (Motherboard, The Secret Theatre).

March's hangover-themed elements will include: someone uses the phrase "hair of the dog", someone asks for medicine, someone eats a McRib, someone draws on someone else, and someone complains about the light.

TinyRhino will be tonight, March 18th at 8pm at the Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Avenue at Union Street, Brooklyn). Tickets are $10 at the door, which includes one free beer. Every TinyRhino also features live music, drink specials and giveaways, and a cocktail hour following the performance.

The Lyceum programs small and large artistic works, working with both local and travelling professional groups, and has an array of activities throughout the year, including our large markets and conventions, zumba classes, a drop down batting cage and weekly jazz.
