For two weeks in December, the Lovelace Studio Theatre at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will be transformed into the intimate nightclub world of Cabaret. Directed by Asolo Rep's producing artistic director Michael Donald Edwards, Our Betters opens Friday, March 13, 2015 at 8pm and runs through Sunday, April 19 at Asolo Rep, with previews tonight, March 11 and Thursday, March 12 at 8pm.

In Maxwell Anderson's 1933 political satire Both Your Houses, a straight-laced young congressman's outlandish plan is bound to save Congress from itself! Or is it?Remy Bumppo will present Anderson's Pulitzer Prize winner as the opening production of its 18th season. Press Opening is Monday, October 6 at 7:00 pm at the Greenhouse Theater Center. The production will run throughout the lead-up to the 2014 midterm elections, in which 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 33 seats in the Senate will be up for re-election.

On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, Asolo Repertory Theatre announced its 2014-2015 season and the third season of its ambitious five-year American Character Project, an in-depth exploration of the soul of this country's people, past and present. Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards and FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training Director/Asolo Rep Associate Artistic Director Rep Greg Leaming presented both season line-ups to more than 350 patrons in Asolo Rep's Mertz Theatre.
