Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) just announced two-time Emmy and two-time Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago, The Addams Family, "Cheers") and Drama Desk Award winner Lorenzo Pisoni (Humor Abuse at MTC, Measure for Measure, Equus) will appear in the New York premiere of GOLDEN AGE, the new play by four-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie.

Profiles Theatre announces the Midwest premiere of Sweet and Sad by Richard Nelson, opening the company's 2012-2013 season. Sweet and Sad, directed by Joe Jahraus and featuring Co-Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox, runs August 17, 2012 - October 7, 2012 with the press opening on Friday, August 24 at 8:00 pm. As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Matthew Lewis, best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series, will make his West End debut this autumn when he joins Cian Barry, Arthur Darvill and Laurence Fox in the cast of Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre (previews from 26 September). Now Jolyon Coy and Lewis Reeves have also joined the cast, according to the show's official website.

Composers Anthony Cheung and Franck Krawczyk will join Peter Eotvos in sharing The Marie-Josee Kravis Prize for New Music at the New York Philharmonic at the request of inaugural recipient Henri Dutilleux, it was announced this evening from the stage in Avery Fisher Hall during a special concert dedicated to Dutilleux's music.

It opens for a limited 12-week season at the Duchess Theatre on Wednesday 3 October, with previews from Wednesday 26 September. According to an Equity Audition notice, the Steppenwolf's production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf will begin previews on Broadway on September 27, 2012 in anticipation of its previously announced October 13, 2012 opening at a Shubert Theatre to be announced. The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle's 43rd Annual Awards Show will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 at A Noise Within in Pasadena. The show will feature performances from previously-announced hosts Jason Graae (recipient of the 2007 Joel Hirschhorn Award for outstanding achievement in musical theatre) and Lesli Margherita (nominee for Kiss Me, Kate). In addition, the Awards show will feature the Los Angeles premiere performance of My Husband, by Paul Rudnick, a short play added to the New York production of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. Also, Yvette Tucker and Salvatore Vasallo will perform an excerpt from "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue," from On Your Toes, choreographed by this year's Hirschhorn Award recipient, Lee Martino.
