The Emmy(R)-winning television event, which this year will celebrate the career of actor, comedian, author, playwright, screenwriter, producer and musician Steve Martin, will continue premiering on TNT or TBS through 2018, with encores each year on sister network Turner Classic Movies (TCM).

The 69th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 7th at 8/9c hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long award season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize.

The award will be bestowed upon Composer and Lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who will accept the award at a ticketed ceremony and concert, which is a fundraising benefit for the Arden's extensive educational and outreach programs. This just in! It's just been announced that DMI Records (Tena Clark, Founder and CEO; Kevin Gore, President and COO) will produce the new Broadway Cast Recording of Gigi, the Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe Oscar® and Tony Award-winning musical comedy. The recording will be produced and engineered by six-time Grammy Award winner Frank Filipetti. The cast of Gigi will go into the studio tomorrow, Sunday, March 22 to record the album, which is slated for a June release.

Montreal's home for Canadian Theatre, Tableau D'Hote Theatre, returns for its ninth season with the Montreal English premiere of Michel Tremblay's internationally-renowned classic, HOSANNA, translated into English by John Van Burek and Bill Glassco. This landmark Quebecois play about identity in crisis, makes a city comeback 40 years after it first hit the stage in a new production directed by Tableau D'Hote Artistic Director, Mike Payette and starring Eloi ArchamBaudoin and Davide Chiazzese. Hosanna plays at the Mainline Theatre (3997 Saint-Laurent) from tonight, March 17 to 29, 2015.
