Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading short stories aloud for a live audience  - announces their upcoming performance of STORIES WITH CHUTZPAH, by Beloved Jewish Authors. The reading with music is a co-production with Cygnet Theatre Company and takes place in conjunction with Cygnet Theatre's run of Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon. Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE), Chicago's only Equity theatre dedicated to producing new work with women at the core, announces the Midwest premiere of Grizzly Mama by George Brant. The production, directed by RTE member Megan Carney, runs September 8 - October 15, 2016, at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 5779 N. Ridge Avenue in Chicago.  The press opening is Monday, September 12 at 7:00pm.

It is directed by Jess Chayes (AD of Peter and The Starcatcher) starring Keilly McQuail (You Got Older, Her Requiem) and Gabriel King (These Seven Sicknesses). Previews begin May 12 at Cherry Lane Theatre, where Lesser America is the inaugural Company in Residence. Opening set for Thursday, May 19.

The Segal Centre presents the scathingly funny BAD JEWS by Joshua Harmon. Having received critical acclaim internationally in the U.S., London, South Africa and Israel, BAD JEWS will have its Montreal premiere at the Segal, May 1 through May 22, 2016. This play will mark the Segal Centre directorial debut for Artistic and Executive Director Lisa Rubin.
