Unicorn Theatre, under the artistic leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cynthia Levin, announces the 37th season of bold new plays. The new season will open September 18, 2010 and include six regular season shows and one exciting season extra. Subscriptions for the new season go on sale May 3, 2010.

Edmund Gaynes has announced the new comedy Hebrew School Dropout, Or: How I Converted from Judaism to Catholicism and Back to Judaism AND Lost Those Stubborn Last 10 Pounds!, by Dave Konig, the three-time Emmy Award winning comedian. Performances will begin April 24th at Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Opening Night is set for May 19th. Pamela Hall directs.

THE BILBAO EFFECT -- a world-premiere play that puts contemporary architecture on trial -- written by Oren Safdie (whose previous play about architecture, PRIVATE JOKES, PUBLIC PLACES, was a hit Off-Broadway in 2003) will be presented Off-Broadway with previews starting May 12 prior to an official press opening night on May 16, 2010 at Center for Architecture (536 LaGuardia Place) in Manhattan.
