Firebrand Theatre, the first musical theatre company committed to employing and empowering women by expanding opportunities on and off the stage, is pleased to announce casting for its inaugural production, the Chicago premiere of LIZZIE, the rock musical based on the true-life story of accused axe-murderess Lizzie Borden. LIZZIE will play November 11 - December 17, 2017 at The Den Theatre's Bookspan Theatre, 1333 N. Welsh musical theatre star and Eurovision hopeful Lucie Jones is to join the cast of The Wedding Singer, (the hilarious musical based on the hit film Adam Sandler film), after she performs in Kiev this weekend where she will represent the UK in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of In the Heights on Friday June 23, 2017 at the November Theatre/Arenstein Stage, 114 West Broad Street. The show will run through July 30, 2017. Previews will run for two nights on Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Producers Work Light Productions (RENT, Mamma Mia!, Motown The Musical) and The Araca Group (Urinetown, Wicked), in association with Aged in Wood and Michael Barra, today announced that a stage production of the murder mystery comedy thriller CLUE will tour North America beginning in the fall of 2018.

From Monday 12 June 2017, there will be major cast changes at the West End production of "LES MISERABLES" at the Queen's Theatre, which is now in its record breaking 33rd year.
