Monument Records - The House That Roy Built: The Big O's Monument Singles Collection Debuts First-Ever CD Release Of Original Mono Mixes of All A & B Sides Cut For The Label, Plus DVD of Nine Songs From 'The Monument Concert 1965' Digitally Restored, Includes The Official Video For 'Oh Pretty Woman'

Portland Center Stage will host the world premiere of Randy Johnson's One Night with Janis Joplin, the new musical event celebrating the life of one of rock 'n roll's greatest legends, beginning May 24, 2011. Artistic Director Chris Coleman announced the news today, which happens to be the singer's birthday.

The Lyric Opera of Kansas City continues its 53rd season with Donizetti's The Daughter of the Regiment. The Daughter of the Regiment will be performed in English. This will be the Company's final season in the Lyric Theatre. Beginning in the fall of 2011, the Lyric Opera will perform at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Marilynn Sheldon, Managing Director of the 5th Avenue Theatre since 1988, will be stepping down from her position by the end of this year. She will continue to advise the board and management until her current contract expires at the end of 2010.

For this very special engagement, CND2 will perform the U.S. premiere of Insected by co-Artistic Director Tony Fabre, and acclaimed dancemaker Duato's movingly spiritual works Kol Nidre and Gnawa.
