This summer, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival marks its 31st season in the beautiful seaside setting of Long Island's East End. The Island's longest-running classical music festival this year features 12 concerts from today, July 30 to August 24, featuring the signature mix of renowned and up-and-coming artists and classic and new music that has made it one of the most noteworthy summer music festivals in the country.

Cone Composition Institute, a multi-faceted program that promotes new music and emerging composers. The series is founded by Inverne Price Music Consultancy and renowned cantor Steven Leas. Viola star David Aaron Carpenter and soloists of the New York Salome Chamber Orchestra will play July 8th launch event, in their UK debut.

Clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein returns to Bargemusic to perform works for clarinet and piano by Chausson, Messiaen, Weinberg, and Weber with pianist Michael Brown today, July 5, 2014 at 7:00 pm. The program also features the world premiere of longtime collaborator Ronn Yedidia's Sparx 2 for solo clarinet. The following day, the duo travels to Music Mountain in Falls Village, CT, joining cellist Nicholas Canellakis and violinist Miranda Cuckson to perform Beethoven's Op. 11 Trio and Messiaen's Quatuor pour la fin du temps at 3:00 pm.

Vail today announced that Colorado Public Radio Classical (CPR Classical) will broadcast six concerts from their 2014 "SummerFest" concert series to listeners across Colorado, including concerts featuring pianist Helene Grimaud and The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Music Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin on July 12, and pianist Yefim Bronfman and the New York Philharmonic conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert on July 19.

Now a long-standing summer tradition, SITC brings thousands of people together for great music and entertainment in local parks each year. With a potpourri of popular classics, Americana and patriotic tunes, this year's concert includes Bizet's sultry Suite from "Carmen," featuring mezzo-soprano Ola Rafalo, and four talented young violinists from Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings (PSSS) performing Vivaldi's Concerto in B Minor. Classical KUSC's radio host Rich Capparela serves as emcee and also narrates Copland's "Lincoln Portrait" before a final audience sing-along of patriotic favorites.
