Right Angle Entertainment and A Rising Tide Theatrical Group have announced the all new national tour of GREATER TUNA. GREATER TUNA will play The Grand 1894 Opera House for a limited three-performance engagement on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 3 and 8 pm; Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 3 pm.

It's been nothing but 'memories' for Betty Buckley this theater season. She won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Grizabella, the glamour cat, in Cats when it opened in 1982 and replaced Glenn Close as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. Both shows are in revival runs right now on Broadway.

Anne, current Educational Director, and Don, current Producing Artistic Director, have been the driving force behind Open Stage of Harrisburg since founding the theatre in 1983. Stuart Landon, current Associate Artistic Director, has been named as the new Producing Artistic Director. David M. Glasgow has been named the new Director of Music and Education.

At the helm of the project, notorious theatre impresario Garth Drabinsky - who is making his comeback to 'artistic producing' following his convictions for fraud and forgery during his time as the head of Livent. Livent, of course, was once a division of Cineplex Odeon which produced the Sousatzka film before being bought out by Drabinsky and his then business partner Myron Gottlieb.

Leonard Bernstein's CANDIDE has had more lives than that proverbial cat--the latest being New York City Opera's new take on it, opening on January 6 for a ten-performance run at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theatre.
