Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American rights to Woody Allen's next film, BLUE JASMINE from Gravier Productions.

The Colony Theatre will present the fifth production of its 'Season of Premieres' with the Los Angeles Premiere of I'LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT, written and directed by Peter Colley. I'LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT will preview tonight, February 6; Thursday, February 7; and Friday, February 8 at 8:00pm. It will open on Saturday, February 9 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, March 3 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

According to In Touch, Broadway veteran and wife Hilaria are expecting their first child together. A close friend revealed: 'Hilaria has told only really close friends and family she is pregnant, only a close circle she trusts." Baldwin, who is Broadway bound in Orphans, has a duaghter from his previous marriage with Kim Basinger.

As 2012 comes to a close, many Austin theater companies are putting together their 2013-2014 season. The Casting Society of America CSA) announced today the nominations for the organization's 28th Annual Artios Awards for outstanding achievement in casting given in 22 categories including film, television and theater. The CSA will fete their own on Monday, October 29, 2012 with award ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. PDT) and at XL Nightclub, Cabaret & Lounge (512 West 42nd Street) in New York (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. EDT). The Press Opening is tonight, June 16, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

According to contactmusic.com, 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin revealed in an interview with Men's Journal Magazine that he is developing a new Broadway musical with director Scott Ellis. No dates have been set and few details have been released.

Deadline.com reports that Alec Baldwin will join forces once again with 'To Rome With Love' director Woody Allen in the upcoming film MAN THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE. Baldwin will join his 'Rock of Ages' co-star Russell Brand in the film from New Line.

People.com reports that Broadway vet Alec Baldwin, 53, got engaged to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas over the weekend. Thecouple has been dating since last summer according to the report.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues its eighteenth season with John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" in an adaptation by Frank Galati. This production features CSC Ensemble Members Justin McCombs, Sherman Fracher and Drew Fracher and is directed by Brian Isaac Phillips. "The Grapes of Wrath" opens on March 30th and runs through April 29, 2012. The production design is generously sponsored by AAA.
