Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College announces its 2009-2010 World Stages: Dance series. Since the inception of a dance series in 1966, over 40 dance companies have made their New York City debuts at Brooklyn Center and more than 170 regional, national and international companies have premiered new works. This season showcases four international dance companies that reflect the artistic excellence and cultural diversity to which Brooklyn Center is dedicated.
Kitty Lunn's Infinity Dance Performs At Joyce SoHo 5/28-31

Kitty Lunn will present her Infinity Dance Theater, a non-traditional company for dancers with and without disabilities, in new works by Peter Pucci, Heidi Latsky, Carla Vannucchi, and Ms. Lunn, along with an Infinity favorite by Robert Koval from the company's first season in 1995. Performances will be held May 28-31 at Joyce SoHo.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College welcomes legendary composer/performer and 2008 Theater Hall of Fame inductee Marvin Hamlisch for an elegant evening of unforgettable music on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 8pm. Mr. Hamlisch holds the distinction of being one of only twelve people to win all four major US performing awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) and one of only two to have won all four of those plus a Pulitzer Prize (the other being Richard Rogers).
