To mark the occasion of Jefferson Mays' 6,000th death in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the production held a funeral procession down West 48th Street, as cast members and fans, all dressed in mourning attire, followed Mr. Mays, lying in state inside a glass-sided horse-drawn hearse, to the Walter Kerr Theatre stage door. A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER just welcomed back original Broadway cast member, Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham, to the 2014 Best Musical last night, July 28, as 'Monty Navarro'. Pinkham departed the production earlier this year, joining Elisabeth Moss and Jason Biggsin the short-lived Broadway revival of Wendy Wasserstein's THE HEIDI CHRONICLES.

On the heels of its Tony® Award win for Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder brought its award home to the Walter Kerr Theatre yesterday, June 18, to allow fans to pose with the prized medallion immediately following that day's matinee performance. In a special, unprecedented ceremony, fans were invited to hold the 2014 Tony® Award for Best Musical and pose for photos in front of the theater (219 West 48th Street). Ghostlight Records has just released the original Broadway cast recording of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, the new musical currently running at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The album - produced by Joel Moss and Kurt Deutsch, with Joey Parnes serving as Executive Producer - features a 40-page booklet with complete lyrics, color photos, a synopsis by librettist Robert L. Freedman and an essay by renowned theater writer and critic David Cote. The cast just celebrated the album release at Joe Allen and you can check out photos from the special event below!

At a press conference yesterday, March 5, the cast of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder announced that the production has reached the 1,000th death of its leading man, Jefferson Mays. Mays' character dies eight times in each performance; and so, he has reached 1,000 stage deaths faster than any other Broadway actor. It was at yesterday's press conference that he was a awarded an honorary 'death certificate.'

The merry ladies and gentlemen of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder departed the Walter Kerr Theatre at the end of yesterday's matinee performance to take their afternoon tea and biscuits with new friends at the 'Downton Abbey' Food Truck, which was stationed on 50th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues in midtown Manhattan. Dressed in their warmest Edwardian attire, the cast enjoyed a warm jolt before returning to the Kerr for that evening's performance.
