The brand-new Lexington Theatre Company is thrilled to announce that casting is complete for its inaugural production of 42nd Street. Tony Award Winner Karen Ziemba, will play Dorothy Brock, alongside other Broadway veterans and up-and-coming actors. 42nd Street is presented by Variety Live at The Opera House with Co-Producing Sponsor Kentucky One Health, and runs tonight, July 23, through July 26 at the Lexington Opera House.

Directed by Jose Possi Neto and text by Miguel Falabella, this production celebrates the professional career of the star in theater and television.

The Pasadena Playhouse presents A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN. Conceived, written and directed by Randy Johnson, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox and musical direction by Tyler Evans. A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN stars Mary Bridget Davies, following her Tony Award nominated Broadway run. Pasadena native Kacee Clanton, also from the Broadway production of A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, will alternate the role of Janis Joplin with Davies.

There will be just four performances of a special adaptation of their recent hit edition, Forbidden Broadway Alive and Kicking! Paper Mill Playhouse released a block of great seats today for the world premiere musical, Ever After for Father's Day Weekend including Friday, June 19 at 7:00pm, Saturday, June 20 at 7:00pm and Sunday, June 21 at 1:30pm and 7:00pm.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 7th at 8/9c hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long award season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize.

HT Musical Theatre, an award-winning Teen Theatre based out of High Tech High School in Hudson County, NJ, will embark on celebrating their 15th anniversary with the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of 'A CHORUS LINE'.
