A BRONX TALE opens on Broadway tonight, December 1, at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).

The show is produced by Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, Tribeca Productions, and Evermere Entertainment.

The production reunites Strallen with director Matthew White, following their previous collaboration at the Menier on Candide. The production opens on 7 December, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 5 March 2017. Full casting will be announced shortly.

New York's Broadway and London's West End have long been the biggest destinations for live theater, and now, a new exhibition opening at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts honors the rich creative talent and award-winning productions in both cities. Co-curated by The Library for the Performing Arts and the V&A, where the exhibition debuted earlier this year, in partnership with the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), Curtain Up: Celebrating the Last 40 Years of Theatre in New York and London highlights how the theatre districts of both cities have flourished and developed since 1976. The exhibition, which opens at The Library for the Performing Arts in Lincoln Center onOctober 31, 2016  and is on display through June 30, 2017.

Actress and singer, Gay Marshall, brings her original show, Gay's Paree, to downtown's alternative supper-club, Pangea, this fall. Marshall's real-life experiences of singing all over Paris, to varying degrees of adventure, delight and misery, unfold through songs by Charles Aznavour, Boris Vian, Francis Lemarque, Dave Frishberg Jacques Brel, and Edith Piaf in both French and English, featuring Marshall's own English adaptations.
