Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Robin and the 7 Hoods - A New Musical featuring a book by Tony Award winner Rupert Holmes and songs by four-time Academy Award winners Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen.

The 8:30 PM performance in the Music Room of the Rosen House will benefit the center and will be followed by a champagne and dessert reception with Prince.

Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that Matthew Lopez has been named Playwright-in-Residence. The two-year residency includes a commission for a new play. Lopez will also take part in the Globe's education outreach and audience development activities. His plays include Zoey's Perfect Wedding, Reverberation and Tio Pepe, which was presented at The Public Theater as part of the 2008 Summer Play Festival.

The producers of ROCK OF AGES announced today that Tony Award Nominee and 'American Idol' finalist, Constantine Maroulis, will reprise his acclaimed performance as Drew in the First National Tour of the five-time Tony Award nominated smash-hit musical ROCK OF AGES. The tour will launch in September in Chicago with a limited two-week engagement at the Bank of America Theatre September 21 - October 3, 2010. Matt Cavenaugh joins Alec Baldwin and Daniel Davis in the New York Philharmonic Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat (A Soldier's Tale) Sunday, May 2, 2010 as part of The Russian Stravinsky: A Philharmonic Festival conducted by Valery Gergiev, which runs April 21 to May 8th at Avery Fisher Hall. Prince has been dazzling Broadway audiences since she swept the theater awards, winning the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Ms. Adelaide in the critically-acclaimed revival of Guys and Dolls. In 2008, she was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for A Catered Affair. This is Prince's second visit to the Center, following her debut here in February 2008. Rehearsals begin today, Monday, April 5 for the World Premiere production of PARADISE FOUND, a new musical under the combined direction of Theater legend and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince (the original productions of Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, Company, Follies, Evita) and 5-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Crazy For You, Show Boat, The Producers, Contact). This is their first collaboration since the landmark, Tony Award-winning revival of Show Boat. Following the New York rehearsal period, the production will open at London's acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory with performances running May 19 through June 26.

In 2008, A Catered Affair was performed on Broadway by an all-star cast for 116 performances. This funny, poignant and oh-so-human tale of love and marriage begins its magnificent journey into regional theatre with its post-Broadway at Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville. The show plays its final performance on March 28.

During a recent stop in Atlanta on his National Tour of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Broadway star Harvey Fierstein made a stop at the Aurora Theatre for the first regional production of his show, A CATERED AFFAIR, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post. Fierstein attended the Friday morning performance and offered the audience a talkback session following the performance.

The Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, returns to the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta for a farewell engagement beginning Wednesday, June 30 through Sunday, July 25.
