The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has announced 10 Finalists for its prestigious playwriting award, the oldest and largest prize awarded to women playwrights.

In a working partnership approaching three decades, composer Stewart Copeland and librettist Jonathan Moore bring their latest opera 'Electric Saint' to Kunstfest Weimar in September of 2020. The project is a co-commission of the innovative Kunstfest alongside Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar (DNT). The world premiere performance will take place at Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar on September 6, 2020, with seven subsequent performances in Weimar.

Styx bring their only UK show in 2019 to the prestigious London Palladium on the 4th June for 'An Evening Of Styx.' They will perform music to celebrate their hugely successful 47-year career, including tracks from their most recent studio album The Mission. The band have been a staple of 'Rock radio' playlists throughout this time, with songs including Crystal Ball, Come Sail Away, Lorelei, Blue Collar Man, Renegade, The Grand Illusion, Too Much Time On My Hands and Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man).

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

Legendary Platinum rockers STYX and comedy legend Larry the Cable Guy are joining forces for the first time ever to rock and GIT-R-DONE. The hit musical inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan, 20th Century Boy, returns to the stage on a UK-wide tour to mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic star's untimely death. Opening on 8 March at G-Live in Guildford, the production will enjoy a 20-week tour, visiting 27 theatres through to Saturday 30 June.
