Broadway's Shuffle Along Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed is a new production that presents both the 1921 musical itself and details the events that catalyzed the songwriting team of Noble Sissle and Eubie Blake, and librettists F.E. Miller and Aubrey Lyles to create this ground-breaking work. Previews will begin Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Opening night is Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Roundabout Theatre Company has confirmed the lineup for its fifth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series this morning, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written and directed by emerging artists, as well as curtain speeches by Roundabout Underground artist alumni and post-show receptions. The Reading Series will feature new works by Ben Steinfeld, Alexander Gemignani, Jireh Breon Holder, Sylvia Khoury, Martin Zimmerman and Jessica Moss.

Directed by David Donihue (who has done videos for underground sensation John Dahlback and Bang Bang Brokers among others) and featuring a driving, uptempo beat and chunky, funky guitars, 'You Me Us Oui' showcases ellee ven's haunting French/English vocals that play off Prodéje's husky, assertive rapping - very reminiscent of Blondie's 1981 ground-breaking song, 'Rapture'.
