The Pasadena Playhouse announced the full schedule for its new summer festival, CIRQUE-A-PALOOZA - Summer Spectacle & Comic Calamity, created and directed by Stefan Haves. Mainstage feature acts will include two performances of magician/entertainer Justin Willman's Tricked Out, Frank Ferrante's one-man show An Evening With Groucho and a special night with some of the greatest magicians of The Magic Castle. Road to Palooza: A Variety Show Spectacular will also be a Mainstage event for five performances featuring a number of the amazing acts playing the festival and rotating special guest performers. The Carrie Hamilton Theatre will host an eclectic variety of specialty acts over the three-week period. The CIRQUE-A-PALOOZA festival will launch today, July 19 and perform through August 11, 2013.

Stephanie worked with Fosse back in the '80s, and has come out of semi-retirement to dance Fosse-style again (and understudy the lead role) in the Tony-winning revival.

The Buck Creek Players will continue their 2012-2013 season 'In the Spotlight' with the Tony Award winning musical, City of Angels, a deliciously funny spoof of 1940's film noir and hard-boiled detective fiction. The wickedly witty musical -- written by Larry Gelbart, creator of TV's M*A*S*H -- opened on Broadway in 1989. With four-part harmonies by Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity, Barnum, The Will Rogers Follies) and lyrics by David Zippel (The Goodbye GIrl, Disney's Hercules, Disney's Mulan), City of Angels went on to win numerous honors in 1990, including the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and The New York Drama Critics Circle awards for best musical. Opening tonight, June 7th, and running for three weekends through Sunday, June 23rd, curtain times will be at 8:00 p.m. todays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees offered on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on the southeast-side of Indianapolis at 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Last time Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma presented THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES was in 2002, during the theatre's first performances at the newly-renovated Civic Center Music Hall. Happy Birthday, Sutton Foster! Foster's portrayal of Reno Sweeney in Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Anythng Goes earned her the 2011 Tony Award Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Sutton also starred on Broadway as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical, for which she was honored with Tony and Drama Desk nominations, and the Outer Critics Circle Award. Prior to that, Sutton was Inga in the Mel Brooks musical, Young Frankenstein, Janet Van De Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone (2006 Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations, LA Ovation Award) and Jo March in Little Women: The Musical (2005 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award nominations). The New York Philharmonic has announced that New York City Ballet principal dancers Robert Fairchild and Tiler Peck will perform in the staged production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, February 27-March 2, 2013. Robert Fairchild will portray the Carnival Boy, and Tiler Peck will portray Louise. With original choreography by Warren Carlyle, Mr. Fairchild and Ms. Peck will dance the pas de deux ballet in Act II. Reflecting this production's focus on Carousel's music, the ballet will be the sole fully choreographed scene. These performances mark Warren Carlyle's first time choreographing Mr. Fairchild and Ms. Peck, and represent Mr. Carlyle, Mr. Fairchild, and Ms. Peck's Philharmonic debuts. Mr. Fairchild and Ms. Peck are appearing courtesy of the New York City Ballet.

Now, Disney Theatrical Productions has confirmed that Aladdin, a new musical based on the Academy Award winning animated film, will play its pre-Broadway engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre(formerly the Canon) November 13, 2013 to January 12, 2014 and will open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014. The show will feature music by Alan Menken; lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin with a book by Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw will direct and choreograph.

Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2013 Season, which opens on June 17 with Monty Python's Spamalot.
