Audiences will be welcomed back to Milwaukee Rep for the 2021/22 Season with 12 productions across four venues in the Patty & Jay Baker Theater Complex. In three years, Perseverance Theatre playwright-in-residence Vera Starbard has developed legendary worlds in prehistoric Tlingit country, adapted Jane Austen for Alaska village life, and interviewed dynamic Alaska Native leaders for biographical stories. Through the generosity of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Perseverance Theatre will be continuing its partnership with Starbard for at least three more years. The Mellon Foundation has extended Starbard's National Playwright Residency Program with Perseverance through June 2022, administered in partnership with HowlRound.

On Sunday, October 14th, 2018, friends, all of whom are either dancers, choreographers, directors or actors, or all combined, that have had the honor to work with or befriend him, gathered at The Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA, owned by Joe Malone and Nanci Hammond Malone, two superb dancers/teachers that donated their facility for this event, to honor, reminisce and celebrate Alan's wondrous life and career.

The last two weekends in September mark the first Masterworks concerts of the 2018-19 season, both conducted by Thierry Fischer. These concerts feature Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" and Gershwin's "An American in Paris." Tickets are priced from $15-$66 and can be purchased at utahsymphony.org or by calling (801) 533-6683.

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) today announced an ambitious international tour in 2017 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). This will be the first ever tour to Australia by the orchestra. A coup for Australia is that internationally acclaimed Jaap van Zweden, will conduct the orchestra with renowned violinist Ning Feng as soloist.

Internationally renowned painter and sculptor Marta Whistler will be holding her first Lehigh Valley showing of her large paintings at the Alvin H. Butz Gallery at the State Theatre in Easton, from March 12 through April 11. An Opening Reception with the Artist will be held on Friday, March 12th from 6 PM - 8 PM.
