After a short lifetime of battling opiate addiction and burning bridges, Tess Butler is dead. Now, it is up to seven people from her life to come together and decide whether or not she’s worth saving. Trapped in a seemingly normal jury deliberation room, Tess can only bear witness as the jurors reconstruct her life, uncovering secrets, confronting hard truths, and slowly reaching a consensus. Is this the end for Tess Butler, or is there yet a part of her that deserves redemption?

The names of 231 contestants in the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition are now available. Those taking part in the first round of the Competition will be 25 musicians each specializing in the Piano, Violin and Cello categories, 60 singers in the vocal category, and 96 contestants in the two new Competition categories, Winds and Brass Instruments, which respectively include 48 woodwind performers and 48 brass performers.

20/20 Presents Two-Hour Documentary 'The Woman in the Suitcase'

In the early hours of February 21, 2005, a utility worker found 21-year-old Inna Budnytska unconscious, naked, beaten and near death, abandoned in an undeveloped Miami cul-de-sac. Budnytska, a guest in a nearby airport hotel, had no memory of her attack and rape. Authorities looked at the hotel's surveillance footage for potential answers, but found puzzling information. The cameras recorded her walking into the lobby at 3:40 a.m. and then never captured her again. In a two-hour documentary, “20/20” reports on the mysterious case and features private investigator Ken Brennan, who meticulously gathered and pieced together clues, discovering how Budnytska left the hotel and tracking down the man whose DNA matched her attacker. “20/20” airs on Friday, April 5 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

The 2018 winners of the New York International Piano Competition (TheNYIPC), under the auspices of the Stecher & Horowitz Foundation, were announced at an Awards Ceremony at Manhattan School of Music on Friday evening (June 22). Prizes and awards totaling $50,000 were presented.  Robert Sherman served as Master of Ceremonies.  The week-long event began on June 18.

The Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery Has Opened Its Call For Entries To The Fifth Triennial Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition. Entries will be accepted now through Sept. 3, 2018, at portraitcompetition.si.edu. Established in 2006, the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition invites artists (who are at least 18 years of age) living and working in the United States to submit one portrait for consideration. Selected artworks are featured in a museum exhibition and some artists are awarded prizes. This year, the competition will focus on broadening the definition of portraiture while highlighting the genre's relevance in contemporary art and culture.
