After 10 years in the UK and two West End seasons, Evita is captivating audiences across the world as it continues on an International and UK tour in 2018. Having already visited Luxembourg and the United Arab Emirates, the story of an ordinary woman's meteoric rise to power at a time of extraordinary political unrest will run at the King's Theatre, Glasgow from Tuesday 15 May - Saturday 19 May 2018.

After 10 years in the UK and two West End seasons, Evita is captivating audiences across the world as it continues on an International and UK tour in 2018. Having already visited Luxembourg and the United Arab Emirates, the story of an ordinary woman's meteoric rise to power at a time of extraordinary political unrest is about to embark on a tour of the UK and Italy, opening at Torquay Princess Theatre on the 13 March.

Asolo Rep's Annual Gala: Old Hollywood at Cocoanut Grove, will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Art Ovation Hotel in downtown Sarasota. The largest fundraiser of Asolo Rep's season, chaired by Susan Malloy Jones, Elizabeth Moore, Jules Price and Michelle Senglaub, will begin at 6pm with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a seated dinner, paddle raise, live music and dancing. It will celebrate the famed Cocoanut Grove lounge and nightclub in Old Hollywood's Ambassador Hotel - a mecca for movie stars and synonymous with the glitz and glamour of Hollywood's Golden Age.

The 2017 nominees for the Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards have been announced. These annual awards are regarded amongst the most valued and prestigious in the South African performing arts industry. This year's ceremony will take place on 18 March at 17:30 at the Baxter Theatre Centre in Cape Town and promises to be an 'Elegantly Extravagant' evening.

This year, rather than picking my own pocketful of favorite performances, I'm exited to instead announce a handful of fresh faces I discovered in 2017 that I'm eager to see back onstage in 2018. Having lived in Dallas a mere three years, I frequently catch performers onstage for my first time, even if they've been long-term staples in our community. Who will I find this year? I can't wait!
