Trinity Repertory Company announced the company's 56th season today. The season kicks off with the world premiere of The Prince of Providence, an adaptation by George Brant of the New York Times best-selling book by Mike Stanton about Providence's legendary mayor Vincent A. Buddy Cianci.

The Guthrie Theater (Joseph Haj, artistic director) today announced the nine productions of its 2019 2020 subscription season: Tennessee Williams' classic family drama The Glass Menagerie; Shakespeare's rollicking comedy Twelfth Night; an adaptation of Emma based on the Jane Austen novel; and Kander and Ebb's musical Cabaret will grace the Guthrie's signature Wurtele Thrust Stage while the McGuire Proscenium Stage's lineup will include Robert Harling's female-driven comedy Steel Magnolias; the regional premiere of Noura, Heather Raffo's complex tale of identity; Anne Bogart's acclaimed production of Euripides' The Bacchae; Karen Zacar as' comedic telenovela Destiny of Desire; and Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize-winning Sweat.

Today, two-time Grammy nominated DJ and Producer Steve Aoki and multi-platinum Norwegian DJ and Producer Alan Walker team up to drop re-envisioned track, “Are You Lonely” featuring ISÀK. The instrumental and lyrical melody are based on the original “Lonely” release that came out at the end of last year on Alan Walker's album, now reimagined with new lyrics, arrangement and performance.

Composer Sebastian Currier's Ghost Trio, written for violinist and longtime champion of his music Anne-Sophie Mutter, receives its world premiere at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. Performed by Ms. Mutter with cellist Daniel Muller-Schott and pianist Lambert Orkis, the work is a piano trio that explores the history and legacy of the genre through allusions to classic works. Ms. Mutter, Mr. Muller-Schott, and Mr. Orkis reprise the work at Chicago's Symphony Center on Sunday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m.

Hannah Grace has shared the video for her new single, 'With You', as well as announcing two shows at London's Camden Assembly and Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach in April.

The Aurora Theatre and Actor's Express presents a co-production of Lucas Hnath's new drama, now playing in Lawrenceville.

The Burry Fredrik Foundation has announced Stephanie Osin Cohen as the recipient of the 2019 Burry Fredrik Design Fellowship and its $25,000 award.

Porchlight Music Theatre continues its "lost" musicals in staged concert series with Porchlight Revisits Can-Can, music and lyrics by Cole Porter and book by Abe Burrows with direction by Adrian Abel Azevedo, musical direction by Linda Madonia and choreography by Shanna VanDerwerker.  Porchlight Revisits Can-Can is presented for three performances-only Wednesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 7 at 2 p.m. and  7:30 p.m. at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Victory Gardens Theater announces the extension of the critically-acclaimed hit Rightlynd, written by Ike Holter and directed by Lisa Portes with original music by Charlie Coffeen.
