Original Broadway Cast member Jackie Burns (If/Then, Wicked, Hair), Tamyra Gray (American Idol Season One Finalist, Rent), and Matthew Hydzik (Side Show, West Side Story, Grease) have joined Original Broadway Cast member Anthony Rapp (Rent, Six Degrees of Separation, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown) and the rest of the previously announced cast in the National Tour of IF/THEN. Theatre Aspen announced the lineup for its 33rd season today. The Hurst Theatre opens with the regional premiere of the megahit musical MAMMA MIA!, running in repertory with the one man comedy Buyer and Cellar and the musical Dear Edwina. The organization also announced the return of the Aspen Theatre Festival for new work at the end of August.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that the LC Dialogues series will kick off on Tuesday, January 26 (7:30pm) with Audra McDonald and Shanice Williams. On Monday, January 4, 2016 (mostly)musicals returned to the E Spot Lounge for the 4th time with songsforanewYEAR, the company's 15th entry in a series of themed cabarets. 'We were excited to get 2016 - and the 3rd season of (mostly)musicals - off to a happy start, so the only theme was 'happy music'!
