Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, Tribeca Productions, and Evamere Entertainment just announced that the Original Broadway Cast Album of A Bronx Tale was recorded in New York City today, January 9. Release dates and additional information will be announced shortly.

Robert DeNiro, Tommy Mottola, Chazz Palminteri and Jerry Zaks will stop by NBC's TODAY to discuss the new Broadway musical A BRONX TALE, followed by a performance from the cast.

Each night at the Longacre Theatre, enthusiastic audiences are teleported to the mean streets of New York City in the 1960's. Telling the story of Calogero, an Italian kid coming of age in the Bronx during a turbulent time in American history. The moving story takes us through one young man's struggles to find a place somewhere between his hardworking father, Lorenzo, the son of immigrants and the glamorous pull of the mafia life and local gangster, Sonny.  

Every night at the Longacre Theatre, the cast of A BRONX TALE tells his story. Chazz Palminteri has made a musical out of his epic story, and earlier this fall it landed on Broadway. The creative team of A BRONX TALE had a different composer in mind when they first envisioned the musical.

On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, guest Robert DeNiro talked to Jimmy about receiving a President Medal of Freedom and co-directing the new Broadway musical A BRONX TALE.

Ariana DeBose is best known to audiences as an original company member of the Broadway mega-smash, 'Hamilton'. In a featured role that put her squarely at the heart of the show's crescendo, Ariana danced her way into the hearts of Ham-fans as 'The Bullet', bringing elegance and grace to the show's final moments and a strong presence the titular character's untimely demise.
