The new Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN will be recorded today, November 3, for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. ON THE TOWN, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).

ON THE TOWN firt premiered on the Great White Way 70 years ago and is now enjoying a successful revival on Broadway. TODAY's Sheinelle Jones joined the production's choreographer and dancers this morning to take a shot at learning the show's difficult choreograph.

It's been a little over a week since our big Broadway opening for ON THE TOWN on October 16, and I'm still aglow from the sheer magnitude of opening night. So many loved ones and proud supporters of our show were in the audience, which included celebrities that run the gamut of film, TV, and theater.

Right from the moment that the booming bass-baritone voice of Phillip Boykin joins the audience singing 'The Star Spangled Banner' as he strolls down an aisle, the show captivates with professionalism and energy that are sustained throughout the evening.
