Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, New York City Center's Principal Dance Company, returns to the theater's stage from November 29th December 31st, 2017.

An Irish Christmas is a holiday journey across the Emerald Isle, featuring superb dancing and authentic Irish music from a cast of 15 musicians and dancers. This year's performances feature the return of World Champion Irish Dancers Scott Doherty and Tyler Schwartz in a memorable night of family entertainment, which will feature everything from traditional Christmas Carols to distinctly Irish traditions (dancing over brooms and around butter churns). The Old Globe presents its 20th annual production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!* The holiday musical will run tonight, November 4, through December 24 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The Atlanta Opera will present From Opera to Opry: Liquor, Love and the Lord on Tuesday, December 5th at The Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse. Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced Lincoln Center's 2017 White Light Festival, which runs from October 18 through November 15. With more than 35 events presented in 13 venues throughout the city, including U.S. and New York premieres and nine commissions, the eighth annual international festival will explore transcendence, interior illumination, and faith in the human spirit, as exhibited through artistic expression across continents and centuries. The multidisciplinary festival takes its name from a quotation by Estonian composer Arvo Part: "Icouldcomparemymusic to white light, which contains all colors. Only a prism can divide the colors and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener."

A blend of romance, adventure and virtual reality with a pop-infused score, it's an inspiring tale like no other that's sure to delight.

The Ogunquit Playhouse has created an all new production of the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, on stage from August 2 to August 26. This sweeping musical is complete with a cast and creative team of Broadway veterans including Kirsten Scott, Jamie LaVerdiere, Darnell Abraham, Lindsay Roberts, Tony-Award nominee Josh Young, Director Seth Sklar-Heyn and Set and Projection Designer Tim Mackabee. The Ogunquit production will also feature the original Tony-nominated costumes by Santo Loquasto.
