PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, the Tony Award-winning musical play written by Tony nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony winner Roger Rees and Tony nominee Alex Timbers, will make its Connecticut premiere at The Bushnell's Mortensen Hall February 18 as part of the 2013-2014 Bushnell Broadway Series co-sponsored by Travelers and Webster Bank.

La Jolla Playhouse announces its final production for its 2013/14 season: the world premiere of The Who & The What, by Ayad Akhtar, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright for Disgraced and author of the acclaimed novel American Dervish, directed by Kimberly Senior (Disgraced), running February 11 - March 9, 2014 (press opening: Wednesday, February 19 at 7:30pm) in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

Peter and the Starcatcher sets sail today and will play its final performance at New World Stages today, Sunday, January 12, 2014, after almost two years, five Tony Awards, and 645 performances (both on Broadway and at New World Stages). Written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher opened on Broadway on April 15, 2012 and ran until January 20, 2013, before beginning performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th St.) on Monday, March 18, 2013.

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing firms, will hold another in its Sunday Seminars series, focused on the culture, business and history of Off Broadway this Sunday, January 12th.

The American National Theatre (ANT) (Sean Cullen, Founder and Producing Artistic Director, THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!, NBC, 2013, GOLDEN BOY, BELASCO, 2013, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, HBO, 2013) will host "The ANT, Made & Played in America" on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th St., New York, NY).

The 2013 BroadwayWorld San Francisco audience choice awards saw a fantastic number of nominations for theatres throughout Northern California this year, from Fresno's Good Company Players to Modesto's Gallo Center to Broadway Sacramento, San Jose and San Francisco. Third time's a charm! The producers of the audience and critics' favorite Peter and the Starcatcher announced today that Steve Rosen, who stepped in to play the role of Black Stache for certain performances during the show's Off-Broadway run at NYTW, again stepped into the show as Smee this past summer, will be joining once again as Smee tonight, November 11, to finish the run of the show with the rest of the cast. Peter and the Starcatcher will play its final performance at New World Stages on Sunday, January 12, 2014.
