Lesley Sharp, Iain Glen, Harry Treadaway, Jessica Raine and Malcolm Storry unite in Frank McGuinness’ version of Henrik Ibsen’s gripping, classic tale of hope in the face of infidelity and deceit, GHOSTS.
Controversy and hidden pasts are suddenly and painfully exposed as wealthy widow Mrs Alving prepares to open a new orphanage in memory of her seemingly beloved husband. Her treasured son Oswald’s return from Paris and her relationship with old friend Pastor Manders are no longer the source of joy they once were, as secrets are turned into a frightening and desperate reality.
In BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO, Cleveland Heights native Rajiv Joseph's, surreal dark play, ghosts roam the streets of Baghdad in 2003. Ghosts of soldiers, citizens, zoo animals, a son of the former ruler of the country. These ghosts are part of the vivid display of the madness of war, and what it means to be caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jesus Christ was a child star who quickly faded into obscurity. And everyone involved in his Nativity saw their lives fall into ruins-from the Orient King who gave away all his gold, to the Talking Sheep who was forced to join a circus freak show, to the alcoholic Angel whose media blitz fell apart when the newborn king and his family fled into divine witness protection. Now, 30 years after his birth, the Ghosts of Nativities past converge on Bethlehem to teach Jesus Christ the true meaning of Christmas.

'Briony Hatch'- Ginny & Penelope Skinner
Sometimes a book is more than just words and paper. She is a friend. When you're with her the world is a magical place...
This September Limehouse Books will release 'Briony Hatch,' a graphic novel written and illustrated by sisters Ginny and Penelope Skinner.
Briony Hatch hates reality. She prefers the fantasy world of her favourite novels: The Starling Black Adventures, in which ghosts are real and you can cast magic spells to defeat your enemies.
In her real life, Briony's parents are getting divorced and her school friends are preoccupied by losing weight and shagging boys. Briony has tried all Starling Black's magic spells in her bedroom but they don't seem to be working. Her mother wants her to grow up, get her head out of those books and pack - they're leaving Dad and moving into a bungalow the other side of town. Worst of all, Briony has almost finished the last ever Starling Black novel; life will soon have no meaning at all.
But Briony is about to learn that fantasy and reality aren't always so easy to distinguish, and life doesn't have to lose its magic just because you're growing up...
With its blend of magic and humour 'Briony Hatch' will appeal to teenagers and adults alike.

Last week, I had the opportunity to drop in on the cast of Horse Head Theater Productions upcoming presentation of Annie Baker's THE ALIENS. Drake Simpson empathically said that the group is excited to present the Houston premiere of the play. Annie Baker is an up and coming and award winning playwright, who had her Houston premiere with Stark Naked Theatre Company's production of her first full length play BODY AWARENESS. Her second play CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION shared the 2010 Obie Award for Best New American Play with her third play THE ALIENS. Annie Baker's THE ALIENS was also a finalist for the 2010 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. In March 2013, Annie Baker was awarded the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize at Houston's Alley Theatre for her fifth play THE FLICK. Needless to say, the enthusiasm surrounding this Houston premiere is high, and the cast was thrilled to chat about Horse Head Theater Company's upcoming production of THE ALIENS.
