Grabbing his last chance to put to rest questions and secrets from his childhood, Hank wrests his birthright from his dying Uncle Henry, and communes with the ghosts that haunt his family's ancestral land to answer the question: What price will I pay to find out who I am?

The first play he ever wrote, Red Dog, was given a staged reading by Whistler in the Dark in 2010. Highland Center, Indiana was a semifinalist at the 2012 Eugene O'Neill Center's Summer Playwriting Conference. An audience talkback will follow each piece. Your comments and reactions will be a valuable asset to this workshop and to the playwrights during their process. This reading will also be webcast on NEWPLAY TV through The Center for Theatre Commons and HowlRound!

Interim Writers is a new collective dedicated to fostering and developing Boston Playwrights. To this end, we hold bimonthly readings where invited playwrights present a piece in any stage of development in order to obtain feedback and hear their ideas out loud. Interim Writers is a resource for writers to have their plays workshopped in a supportive, constructive environment, and for Boston theater companies to come discover new plays and voices.
