In BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO, Cleveland Heights native Rajiv Joseph's, surreal dark play, ghosts roam the streets of Baghdad in 2003. Ghosts of soldiers, citizens, zoo animals, a son of the former ruler of the country. These ghosts are part of the vivid display of the madness of war, and what it means to be caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The Ford's Theatre 2010-2011 season continues with A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and adapted by Michael Wilson, November 20, 2010, to January 2, 2011.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater presents the world premiere of Marcus Gardley's every tongue confess, which opens the new Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle, the third theater space in the Mead Center. Director Kenny Leon Broadway's Fences and last season's Stick Fly at Arena Stage leads an ensemble cast featuring talent from across the country, including Tony Award-winner Phylicia Rashad teamed up with Jason Dirden, Crystal Fox, Autumn Hurlbert, Jim Ireland, Leslie Kritzer, Eugene Lee, E. Roger Mitchell and Jonathan Earl Peck. every tongue confess runs November 9, 2010-January 2, 2011 in the Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle.

The Amoralists are proud to present the New York Premiere of Ghosts in the Cottonwoods, written and directed by Adam Rapp. Ghosts in the Cottonwoods, Adam Rapp's first full-length play, runs Off-Broadway now through December 6, 2010 in a limited engagement at Theatre 80 St. Marks, located at 80 St. Marks Place between 1st and 2nd Avenues in NYC. Previews began November 11 for a November 13 opening.

The Milk Can Theatre Company (Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Artistic Director) will kick off its 2010-11 season with the world-premiere of Bethany Larsen's MALFI, INC. - a modern day adaptation of John Webster's classic THE DUCHESS OF MALFI -- with previews set to begin November 10 prior to an official press opening of November 12 at Theatre 54 (244 West 54th Street) in Manhattan. Julie Fei-Fan Balzer directs.

'Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo,' which had its world premiere at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre in 2009 and was named a 2010 Pulitzer Prize finalist earlier this month, opens at the CTG/Mark Taper Forum at the Los Angeles Music Center on Sunday, April 25. Previews are underway and performances continue through May 30, 2010.

It was announced today that Rajiv Joseph's darkly comic 'Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo' has been named as a finalist for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Other finalists include 'The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity' by Kristoffer Diaz, and 'In the Next Room or the vibrator play' by Sarah Ruhl.

Adventure Stage Chicago (ASC) presents the final production of their 2009-2010 season: the Midwest Premiere of THE GHOSTS OF TREASURE ISLAND, adapted by Eric Schmiedl from Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 1883 adventure novel Treasure Island. THE GHOSTS OF TREASURE ISLAND features music and lyrics by the band Captain Bogg and Salty and is directed by Amanda Delheimer (The Cay, The Ash Girl).

Following on the heels of their critically acclaimed and wildly popular production of The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, The Amoralists will proudly present three shows as part of their highly anticipated 2010 Off-Broadway theater season.

The entire cast and creative team from the world premiere of Rajiv Joseph's 'Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo' at the Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in 2009 will return for the presentation at the CTG / Mark Taper Forum. Directed by Moisés Kaufman, 'Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo' begins previews April 14, opens April 25 and continues through May 30, 2010.

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, continues its 35th Season with Awake and Sing!, Clifford Odets' Tony Award-winning play, directed by Amy Morton. The production runs January 21- February 28, 2010, at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.
