Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 85th season with Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize winning comedy-of-errors, HARVEY. The play is co-directed by veteran directors Jerry Hurley and Steve Bell and will be presented onstage October 28th - November 18th. Performances will take place at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell with curtain at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. Bergen County Players (BCP) concludes its 84th season with a staged reading of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. Conceived by BCP alum Brian Shnipper and directed by Mark Rinis, this anthology of monologues and short plays began as a series of benefit events in Los Angeles, taking on a life of their own as an inspiring theatrical evening. The show will only run two nights, June 10 and 11 at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. Happy Birthday, Hunter Foster! Foster is perhaps best known for playing 'Bobby Strong' in Urinetown, for which he received nominations for an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Lucille Lortel Award. In 2003, Foster starred as 'Seymour' in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, for which he received his first Tony Award nomination. HARVEY, the immortal comedy and timeless classic, will be performed by the men of Yeshiva University at the Schottenstein Theater in Washington Heights. Written in 1944 by the legendary playwright and journalist Mary Chase, HARVEY received widespread acclaim, winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1945 and being adapted for film in 1950.
