Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced that seven new shows have been added to its diverse 2018-19 season. Bluegrass-country singer Alison Krauss, winner of 27 Grammy Awards, will perform Saturday, October 6, 2018; comedian Ron White will return to LBC on Friday, October 26, 2018; after their first successful year of touring, comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD will return to LBC on Wednesday, November 14; Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers is joined by Bucky Heard to perform the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame duo's most famous songs on Sunday, November 18, 2018; Big Bad Voodoo Daddy bring their holiday show to LBC on Monday, December 3, 2018; Dustbowl Revival and Hot Club of Cowtown will make their way to Santa Rosa as part of Across the Great Divide: A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Band on Wednesday, March 27, 2019; and international best-selling author Neil Gaiman will come to LBC with his show An Evening with Neil Gaiman on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center of Palo Alto presents a sensational line-up for its 2018-2019 Arts & Dialogues series, featuring appearances by internationally acclaimed actors and musicians, in addition to world-class theatre and literature events. Beginning in September and continuing through next spring, the OFJCC will host captivating live performances by household names such as Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor Mandy Patinkin and renowned entertainer Alan Cumming.

Ovens Auditorium will host Ron 'Tater Salad' White with his new stand-up show on Saturday, November 3 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 22 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the Bojangles' Coliseum Box Office located at 2700 E. Comedy Central builds on its success of last year's Up Nextshowcase at Clusterfest, featuring the network's rising stars, by including another stand-up showcase and adding a variety showcase. The weekend will highlight over 20 comedians with two separate and distinct stand-up showcases taking place on Friday, June 1, hosted by Chris Redd with special guest Tim Dillon and Saturday, June 2, hosted by Jullian McCollough with special guest Mark Normand; and a brand new variety showcase taking place on Sunday, June 3, hosted by Matthew Broussard. All shows will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in the 415 Comedy Club room.

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will hold their 15th Anniversary Gala today, May 22 at their home, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). The event will honor Randi Berry of IndieSpace, an organization that creates 'permanent real estate solutions for the independent theater community'. IndieSpace was instrumental in finding The Tank's new home, and we'll be celebrating The Tank's home, history, and future with this exciting event. Comedy Central, the #1 brand in comedy, Superfly, the brains behind Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands co-producer, Another Planet Entertainment, today announced details for the Comedy Central Presents Clusterfest immersive experiences. Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.

Launched on Valentine's Day 2014 and hosted by comedian Ken Reid, the TV Guidance Counselor podcast is celebrating its 250th episode on September 9th, 2017. The podcast welcomes notable actors, artists, writers, musicians and comedians into Ken's classic television world, utilizing back issues of TV Guide Magazine as a vehicle to the past. In case you're not familiar with the podcast, the basic gist is that host Ken Reid owns every copy of TV Guide from the 60s through the '90s, and he and his guest decide what they would watch on today's date in 1972, for example.
