LOZADA LOWDOWN LIVE Returns to Gotham Comedy Club

On Wednesday on January 31, 2018 LOZADA LOWDOWN LIVE! is back by popular Demand at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.

LOZADA LOWDOWN LIVE! is a talk show/ stand up comedy show starring Angelo Lozada and Tammi Cubilette with music provided by world-renowned DJ, G-Bo the Pro. This show will feature comedians Mike Britt (BET's Comic View, VH1's Best Week Ever & The Bad Boys of Comedy), Ruperto Vanderpool (BET's Comic View, Showtime at the Apollo, The Cookout) & Ronny Chieng (Comedy Central- The Daily Show)

Upcoming shows will include the country's top stand up comedians, singers, actors, and news makers as well as Angelo and Tammi's take on life, politics and all things.

Angelo Lozada is a Bronx bred comic, writer and actor who in mid 1990's founded the acclaimed comedy troupe Nuyorican Rule for over a decade they performed irreverent socio-political sketches they were seen on New Joke City with Robert Klein and featured for a season on NBC's Showtime at The Apollo.

Angelo's stand up TV credits include BET's ComicView, Martin Lawrence-1st Amendment, AXSTV's Gotham Comedy Live. Lozada is the co-creator and starred in the award winning web series GET SOME! it also earned him three nominations for Best Actor at the Latino Short Film Festival, the International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV) and NBC's Short Cuts Film Festival. Currently, Angelo is the warm up comedian for Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He also tours with Trevor across the United States performing to sold-out venues like The Kennedy Center (D.C.), The Dolby Theatre (L.A.) and The Beacon Theatre (N.Y.).

Lozada is one of the top Latino Comedians in the US he is proud to perform in both English and Spanish but especially enjoys using his Puerto Rican roots to unite folks of all backgrounds and use laughter to build a better understanding of the human experience.

Tammi Cubilette is a native New York actor and writer her early credits include a series regular on critically acclaimed Latino-themed sketch comedy House of Buggin starring John Leguizamo's. She also appeared along side Whoopi Goldberg on television show MAD TV. Tammi credits also include appearances on TV shows like Judging Amy, That's Life, The Division and HBO's Entourage. Cubilette is also the co-creator and stars on the web-series GET SOME! on www.Kollideoscope.com. In 2016 the International Latino Short Film Festival nominated her for best actress for her work on GET SOME! Tammi's motto is "I just want to drink wine and rescue dogs."

Gil Vazquez aka G-BO THE PRO first made his mark in the early 90's with partner DJ Rei Double R producing "must have" mixtapes in New York City. Today he takes his Djing skills internationally and is also a resident DJ at Camarades in EL BARRIO NYC where for 9 year he is the host & DJ for WAYBACK WHENSDAY a night where he spins CLASSICS. When he is not Djing he is performing his duties as the President of the Keith Haring Foundation. Since 1990 the Keith Haring Foundation has donated millions of dollars to causes related to the AIDS, children & the arts.

Flaco Navaja is a singer, poet, actor, who is born and raised in the Bronx. He sings in both Spanish and English and has toured with various groups across the globe. A Nostalgic old sound with brand new spoken word. Navaja's original style of poetry combines singing, beat-boxing, and spoken word. He was the host of the legendary open mic showcase; "All That! Hip Hop Poetry & Jazz" at the famous Nuyorican Poets' Cafe. He has performed at national and international venues and events. In 2003, he toured internationally with the Tony Award winning Russell Simmons' Def Poerty Jam and he has appeared on four episodes of the HBO series.

David Zayas is best known for his roles as Angel Batista on Showtime's series Dexter, Osborne the cop in Rounders (1998), Enrique Morales on the HBO prison drama series Oz, Lou the bodega owner in Annie (2014) and Sal Maroni on Fox's series Gotham.

Joseph La Morte credits include feature film ENTRE NOS (Netflix/HBO Latin America), romantic comedy short CRUSH for HBO/HBO Latino, Alfredo De Villas feature film Washington Heights (2002), He also produced mini docs profiling artists like Zendaya, Pitbull and Dania Ramirez. Joseph was also the executive producer of Comedy Web series GET SOME! on www.kollideoscope.com

Gloria La Morte credits include co-producer on comedy DETAILS for HBO. She later focused on film editing credits include ENTRE NOS, CRUSH, AUTUMN'S EYES and WOVEN WAVES. Returning to her comedy roots she wrote/produced the Nuyorican centric Comedy web series GET SOME! on www.kollideoscope.com

Jorge Cano-Moreno credits include co-founder of the ground-breaking publication, website and nationally syndicated TV show Urban Latino. Jorge's is founder and managing partner of Urban Lifestyle Media, LLC a marketing/Promotion company that oversaw the grassroots marketing for the Broadway hit Ghetto Klown (2011) and recently hired to promote the off-boardway hit I LIKE IT LIKE THAT (2016) other clients include People En Espanol - Festival (2016), Lehman Center for Performing Arts, New Jersey Center Performing Arts Center and the film COLAO (2018)
