Tony Award winners Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons will return to Broadway to star together in the world premiere of Impressionism, a new American play by Michael Jacobs. The production, which will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, will come to Broadway in Spring, 2009.

The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of Lower Ninth, a new play inspired by the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Written by Beau Willimon, this new drama will be directed by Daniel Goldstein, and will feature Gaius Charles, James McDaniel and Gbenga Akkinagbe. Performances begin February 14 with opening night scheduled for Thursday, February 28.

Variety reports that 'Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me' will open at a TBA Shubert theatre on August 10, 2006.

The production will star Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton. Daniel Manche and Alex Rutherford will alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.

This December, DISNEY LIVE! WINNIE THE POOH will play a special month-long holiday engagement at New York's legendary Beacon Theatre (2124 Broadway at West 74th Street), December 8-28, 2005.
