John Berry, a Grammy winning singer/songwriter, who was diagnosed with throat cancer after wrapping his 2018 Christmas tour, has announced his 23rd Annual Christmas Songs and Stories Tour for the 2019 holiday season. After 35 treatments, including chemotherapy and radiation, John has been back on the road and entertaining fans since May. This Christmas season promises to be a reason for celebration as he reflects on his ongoing recovery and the joy of the Christmas spirit. The seasonal fan favorite performances are filled with traditional Christmas songs, including his incredible version of 'O Holy Night,” many of his most requested hit songs, and a few of his childhood stories sprinkled in.

What makes a Broadway theatre? Technically any venue with 500 seats or more, located along Broadway in New York City's Theatre District is a Broadway theatre, and the art that is produced in these special places is widely considered the highest form of theatrical entertainment in the world. Today, forty-one theatres are technically Broadway houses, each with their own rich history. Influential NYC indie greats Versus have shared 'Bow And Arrow,' the second single from the Ex Nihilo EP, their first new music in nine years -- listen HERE. The EP will see a release on May 3, 2019 via Ernest Jenning Record Co., with a full-length to follow later this year. The Fontaine Toups-led 'Bow And Arrow' premiered via Under The Radar, who called it 'a power-pop anthem dedicated to all the girls growing up in our era.' This premiere follows the EP's first single, 'Invisible Love,' about which BrooklynVegan said 'They've lost none of their ability for making memorable, hook-laden indie rock.' The band will also be performing as direct support for Ex Hexat Brooklyn, NY's Elsewhere on May 9.

Hannibal Lokumbe will culminate his three-year tenure as Philadelphia Orchestra composer-in-residence with the world premiere ofHealing Tones, March 28-30, in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, conducted by Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The piece will be dedicated to the Tree of Life congregation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the wake of the tragic shooting that occurred there in October 2018. Audrey Glickman, a survivor of the attack, will play the shofar during the three world premiere concerts.

This September features many new titles coming to Amazon Prime. Prime Original series King Lear will become available on Prime Video on September 28th. Additionally, you can catch season two of PBS's hit British series Victoria starting August 25 on Prime Video. 

Grammy winning singer / songwriter, John Berry, celebrated his new single, “Beautifully Broken,” the title track for the exhilarating new feature film of the same name at the red carpet VIP Premiere Monday evening. The single has been #1 on the Christian Music Weekly Chart for 5 weeks and in the top ten since charting 23 weeks ago. “Beautifully Broken” is currently at #34 on the MusicRow Country Charts and continues to rise, breaking a 22 year stretch for charting a single on radio. The song was also added to Spotify's New Traditions: Country Heroes Playlist.
