Atlantic Theater Company is proud to announce that Little Known Facts at Atlantic, a live podcast hosted by Ilana Levine, will be returning as a full series this spring. Little Known Facts at Atlantic was originally presented as a one night only event featuring Atlantic Ensemble member Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson. Following the first event's success, three additional live podcasts have been announced.

Kelley's 50th and final season as Artistic Director of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley includes triumphant returns of TheatreWorks favorites, bold premieres developed at the company's annual New Works Festival, and celebrated works from the nation's leading playwrights.

Raven Theatre announces its 2019-20 Season, kicking off this fall with the Chicago premiere of Rachel Bonds' drama SUNDOWN, YELLOW MOON, directed by Artistic Director Cody Estle and featuring music and lyrics by The Bengsons. This warm, delicate play with music is an honest look at the hard work of holding a family together and re-connecting with what we've left behind.

Jason Robert Brown's landmark musical Songs for a New World (New York City Center 2018 Encores! Off-Center Cast Recording) is released today, Friday, January 25, in streaming and digital formats, in addition to a two-CD set. This is the show's first recording since the world premiere album over 20 years ago. In the ensuing years, these songs have become staples of contemporary musical theater, including the modern standard "Stars and the Moon." Palo Alto Players continues its 2018-19 season with the Peninsula premiere of Lee Hall's stage adaptation of Tom Stoppard and Marc Norman's 1998 Oscar-winning film, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE.  Set against the backdrop of mistaken identity, ruthless scheming, and backstage theatrics, the romantic romp imagines the fictional love affair between William Shakespeare and the woman that inspires him to write his first great masterpiece.  SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE is directed by Theatre Bay Area Award-winning director Lee Ann Payne (Palo Alto Players' The Laramie Project), and features a cast of 21 local Bay Area actors.  SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE runs January 18 through February 3 at the Lucie Stern Theater, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.  For information or tickets, visit paplayers.org or call 650.329.0891.

Daniel Schumann, Lee Dean and Cambridge Arts Theatre in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre today announce John Stahl (Big Ger Cafferty) and Cathy Tyson (Siobhan Clarke) will join Charles Lawson (John Rebus) in Rebus: Long Shadows, a brand new Rebus story written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro. On September 28, Reprise Records will release An American Treasure—a career-spanning Tom Petty box set. The 60-track set unveils dozens of previously unreleased recordings, alternate versions of classic songs, rarities, historic live performances and deep tracks that spotlight Tom's remarkable depth and evolution as a revered and tremendously influential songwriter, recording artist and performer. An American Treasure marks the first release of Tom Petty music since the artist's tragic passing in October 2017.

How We React and How We Recover, the new album from three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, will be released by Ghostlight Records this month. His first solo recording in over a decade is a politically-charged, far-reaching rumination on love, family and music. The album will be available in digital and streaming formats on Friday, June 29, with a physical CD planned for later this year. The release will coincide with New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center production of Brown's landmark New York debut show Songs for a New World, which runs from June 27-30.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize...

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. Central Works 2018 season of new plays leaps into the spring with the world premiere of Palace Wreckers, Inc, written and directed by Gary Graves, opening with a press night today, May 12, and running through June 10  (previews May 10 & 11) in architect Julia Morgan's historic Berkeley City Club. This Central Works Method play is a 'revenge comedy' - based on a Greek tragedy, turned into a contemporary comedy. The Central Works Method brings together writer, actors and director at the very outset of the playwriting process. In a supportive workshop environment, group research and collective brainstorming contribute to the entire development of the script.

The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke return for their fourth season at Forest Hills Stadium-the historic sporting and entertainment venue located in the Queens, New York neighborhood of Forest Hills-for a one night only performance of The Who's 'TOMMY' on Sunday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.) Presented by Q104.3 and Madison House Presents, the concert features Roger Daltrey, joined by a band of seasoned Who players, including guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, guitarist Frank Simes, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button, and drummer Scott Devours.

The Artistic Home Ensemble will present the Chicago premiere of Lauren Gunderson's ADA AND THE ENGINE as the final entry in its three-play 2018-19 season, according to company Artistic Director Kathy Scambiatterra, who announced the season today. The 36-year-old Gunderson was the most-produced playwright in America during 2017, according to American Theatre Magazine.
