The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced initial casting today for the concert version of Paul Simon's THE CAPEMAN, running August 14-16 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. All performances for the three night concert version of THE CAPEMAN will be at 8 p.m. Free tickets will be distributed the day of the show.

Little House on The Prairie's Nellie Oleson -- Alison Arngrim -- returns to NYC to Kick-Off Live Tour and Book Launch 'Confessions of a Prairie Bitch.' By popular demand, a 3rd performance had been added for comic, former child star, outspoken activist, TV Land Award winner, and author Alison Arngrim when she return to New York with 'Confessions of a Prairie Bitch.' In addition to the previously announced shows on June 17 & 19 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, another performance has been added on Friday, June 18 at 7:30pm. This series of live performances also marks the release of Arngrim's book of the same title (from HarperCollins' It Books) and the kick-off a national tour (with stops in Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boston and more).

Tom Jones, the lyricist and book writer of The Fantasticks, will reprise the role of Henry (The Old Actor) in The Fantasticks, the world's longest-running musical, in celebration of the show's 50th anniversary. Jones originated the role in 1960 when The Fantasticks premiered at The Sullivan Street Playhouse.
