Moonbug, a global entertainment company that develops and distributes fun and safe content for kids, today announced Andy Yeatman, former Netflix executive and director of kids and family content, has joined the company as head of the Americas. Yeatman will oversee the already established and significant Americas-based business and will focus on furthering operations and growth into the American market. He will lead creative and production teams as well as commercial teams. Additionally, he will identify and onboard future acquisitions for Moonbug as part of its rapid expansion in North America. Yeatman joins Moonbug's industry leading executive team alongside media veterans René Rechtman, co-founder and CEO; John Robson, co-founder and COO; and Alfie Chubb, head of mergers and acquisitions. Moonbug is dual headquartered in London and Los Angeles, and Yeatman will be based in Los Angeles in its newly opened office.
15 year-old Bedfordshire songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alfie Templeman today shared the video for new track 'Yellow Flowers', taken from his debut EP Like An Animal - out now on Chess Club. Templeman plays every instrument heard on the EP and put together the whole release in his bedroom - a homage to his DIY heroes Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco and Steve Lacy. The video is currently streaming via Wonderland.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the critically acclaimed production of John Logan's Red with Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch will be screened in selected cinemas across the UK and North America on November 7 2018. Directed by Peter Rothstein, founding artistic director of Theater Latte Da in Minneapolis, RAGTIME features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, who all garnered Tony Awards for the production. The original Broadway production was directed by Frank Galati, who received a Tony nomination for his work and is an Associate Artist at Asolo Rep. A collaboration with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, RAGTIME is currently on stage through May 27 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. YouTube today announced a pilot to series order for the action comedy WAYNE. In this gritty and sometimes bloody tale, fifteen year-old Wayne sets out on a dirt bike with his new crush Del to take back the 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died. It is Wayne and Del against the world. WAYNE will star Mark McKenna (“Sing Street,” “Kat and Alfie: Redwater”) as “Wayne” and Ciara Bravo (“Big Time Rush,” “Red Band Society”) as “Del.” Joshua J. Williams (“Mudbound”) will also recur as “Orlando”. Pilot guest stars also include Dean Winters and Mike O'Malley. The 10 episode series is set to debut on YouTube Red in 2018.
