Moonbug, a global entertainment company that develops and distributes fun and safe content for kids, today announced Andy Yeatman, former Netflix executive and director of kids and family content, has joined the company as head of the Americas. Yeatman will oversee the already established and significant Americas-based business and will focus on furthering operations and growth into the American market. He will lead creative and production teams as well as commercial teams. Additionally, he will identify and onboard future acquisitions for Moonbug as part of its rapid expansion in North America. Yeatman joins Moonbug's industry leading executive team alongside media veterans René Rechtman, co-founder and CEO; John Robson, co-founder and COO; and Alfie Chubb, head of mergers and acquisitions. Moonbug is dual headquartered in London and Los Angeles, and Yeatman will be based in Los Angeles in its newly opened office.

15 year-old Bedfordshire songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alfie Templeman today shared the video for new track 'Yellow Flowers', taken from his debut EP Like An Animal - out now on Chess Club. Templeman plays every instrument heard on the EP and put together the whole release in his bedroom - a homage to his DIY heroes Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco and Steve Lacy. The video is currently streaming via Wonderland.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie, the award-winning feel good new musical sensation, has announced that Shane Richie, best known for playing the much-loved Alfie Moon in the BBC's EastEnders will take on the role of Hugo / Loco Chanelle from 28 January until 4 May 2019.

With his latest album, As Time Goes By, Boe tackles a slightly different genre, covering a variety of mid-century standards with a lounge-style, big-band sound. This branching out is a delightful new avenue for Boe that his fans will be sure to enjoy, although the album is not uniformly excellent.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the critically acclaimed production of John Logan's Red with Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch will be screened in selected cinemas across the UK and North America on November 7 2018. Filmed at the Wyndham's Theatre, where it completes its run on July 28, the production is based on Grandage's original 2009 Donmar Warehouse production, that went on to win six Tony Awards including for Best Play and Best Direction of a Play.

20th Century Fox has released a new red band trailer for THE PREDATOR. Directed by Shane Black, the film stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Yvonne Strahovski.

Bust A Move With the Good NewsAltar Boyz is one of the craziest, funniest things I have seen lately. A tongue-in-cheek satire not of God or organized religion per se, but of a particular type of hyperactive, relentlessly upbeat Christian entertainment that is pure, irresistible showbiz. The title is the name of a fictitious Christian boy-band on the last night of their national 'Raise the Praise' tour: Matthew (Cameron Conners), Mark (Michael Detmer), Luke (Tony Smith), Juan (Remy Sisk), and Abraham (Alfie Jones), who's Jewish and sports a yarmulke adorned with a glitzy star.

Hudson Taylor, the Pop-Rock-Americana band comprised of brothers Alfie and Harry Hudson Taylor,  are set to open for Hozier's sold out North American tour, kicking off on September 18th in Montreal, Canada. Their latest EP, Feel It Again, charted in the Top 5 on the Irish album chart, quickly racking up over eight million streams on Spotify after its March 23rd release.

Asolo Rep continues its 2017-18 season with the celebrated American musical RAGTIME. Directed by Peter Rothstein, founding artistic director of Theater Latte Da in Minneapolis, RAGTIME features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, who all garnered Tony Awards for the production. The original Broadway production was directed by Frank Galati, who received a Tony nomination for his work and is an Associate Artist at Asolo Rep. A collaboration with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, RAGTIME is currently on stage through May 27 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. Hudson Taylor, the Irish Americana Pop band comprised of brothers Alfie and Harry Hudson Taylor,  have released Feel It Again (Acoustic), a collection of full band acoustic performances of the songs from their recent EP, Feel It Again. The five tracks on the EP are accompanied by live videos, recorded at Camden Studios in their home-town of Dublin, Ireland.

YouTube today announced a pilot to series order for the action comedy WAYNE. In this gritty and sometimes bloody tale, fifteen year-old Wayne sets out on a dirt bike with his new crush Del to take back the 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died. It is Wayne and Del against the world. WAYNE will star Mark McKenna (“Sing Street,” “Kat and Alfie: Redwater”) as “Wayne” and Ciara Bravo (“Big Time Rush,” “Red Band Society”) as “Del.” Joshua J. Williams (“Mudbound”) will also recur as “Orlando”. Pilot guest stars also include Dean Winters and Mike O'Malley. The 10 episode series is set to debut on YouTube Red in 2018.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2018 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The nominations were announced this morning by Tony® Award winners Harriet Harris, Julie White and Tony® Award nominee Christopher Sieber at the official announcement event at Sardi's Restaurant, which was streamed live online right here at BroadwayWorld.com.

Alfred Molina is reprising his role as Mark Rothko in John Logan's play Red, teaming up once again with director Michael Grandage for the first London revival (and West End premiere). He's joined by How To Get Away With Murder star Alfred Enoch.
