Palmer's granddaughter, BC McGregor, set out to change that with the release in 2009 of the book, 'Life Stories of a Hero: Selections from the Poetry of Howard Palmer, Native Oregonian, 1907-1988' (published by iUniverse). The book will enjoy a renewed marketing push when it is featured at the 2013 Frankfurt Book Fair.

The fledgling studio promptly established itself as one of the major film producers of the second golden age of Japanese cinema, specializing in low- to no-budget productions that have become absolute cult classics.
