TACT/ The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Artistic Executive Director; Nora Chester & Jeffrey C. Hawkins, Associate Artistic Directors), the award-winning Off-Broadway company celebrating its 25th Anniversary Season, today announced the cast for Three Wise Guys, the World Premiere of a new comedy by Scott Alan Evans & Jeffrey Couchman, based on Damon Runyon's short stories, 'Dancing Dan's Christmas' and 'The Three Wise Guys.'

Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, today announced programming for the BAM 2018 Winter/Spring Season. Palm Beach Dramaworks presents Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes. Considered by many to be Hellman's masterpiece, this classic play about greed and the path of destruction it leaves in it's wake is as timely now as when it was written in 1939.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre presents Watch on the Rhine, Lillian Hellman's 1940s political thriller about loyalty, family, and sacrifice. The play, directed by Berkeley Rep's associate director Lisa Peterson, begins previews on Thursday, November 30, 2017 and runs through Sunday, January 14, 2018. Rubicon Theatre Company (RTC) opens the company's 2017-2018 20th Anniversary Season with a provocative and gripping drama based on the story of German conductor and composer Wilhelm Furtw ngler, who remained in Germany after Hitler's rise to power and was later accused of being a Nazi sympathizer.

Haven Theatre is pleased to announce the line-up for its third DIRECTORS HAVEN, the company's ever-growing initiative showcasing the talents of three early career directors. This season, Kristen Johnson directs Vaclav Havel's riveting political satire THE PROTEST, Ian Martin helms Amiri Baraka's THE TOILET, a powerful look at love and empathy, and Lexi Saunders directs Rachel Dubose's sharply funny and biting new play THE DEPARTURE. The Old Vic presents the World Premiere of Girl From the North Country, an electrifying new work written and directed by Conor McPherson along with classic songs from Bob Dylan. Girl from the North Country plays at the Old Vic until 7 October.

Defiantly rejecting the standard jukebox model, Conor McPherson's much-anticipated new work mining the back catalogue of Bob Dylan is labelled 'a play with songs' - or perhaps that should be a play and songs, with two distinct forms of storytelling weaving around one another, reflecting, deepening, revealing, in exquisitely soulful harmony.

Anoka's Lyric Arts Main Street Stage returns this summer with the comedic and uplifting Cole Porter, Guy Bolton, PG Wodehouse, Howard Lindsay and Russell Crouse musical Anything Goes. First produced in 1934, in the beginning of the Great Depression, Porter's memorable musical questions the country's status quo and then, the course of true love. Eighty two years later, the musical resonates with Porter's evocative lyrics from the title song: Good authors, too/Who once knew better words/ writing prose/ now use four letter words/ Anything goes/ truding in nude parties studios / Anything goes/ Why nobody will oppose/ Anything goes.

Pieter Toerien and David Ian will present a South African season of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical, EVITA, in directed by Broadway legend Harold Prince. The seven-time Tony Award-winning musical charts the rags-to-riches rise of the First Lady of Argentina, who won the love of her countrymen after marrying military leader-turned-president, Juan Peron.

After producer Fred Hamlin christened Columbus Circle's Majestic Theatre with a spectacular musical extravaganza based on L. Frank Baum's 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' (The show had nothing to do with the classic MGM film.), he sought to follow up with another memorable production with a family-friendly setting.
