Lyric Opera of Chicago presents Mieczys?aw Weinberg's powerfully haunting opera, The Passenger, conducted by Sir Andrew Davis in a new-to-Chicago production by David Pountney. Due to predicted extreme weather conditions and travel disruptions, the New York Philharmonic has had to cancel two rehearsals for the program of Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, January 29 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m.; and Saturday, January 31 at 8:00 p.m., to be conducted by David Robertson.
