The long awaited debut single Rollin', from Curb Records newcomer Jackson Michelson is here. The infectious, up tempo song, written and produced by Michelson showcases his style of driving high-energy rhythm with good natured hooks, a style that he adopted while on the road paying his dues with nearly 150 dates a year.

SpeakEasy Stage Company opens its 27th season with the Boston-area premiere of MEN ON BOATS, directed by Dawn Simmons, and featuring an all-female design team and a racially diverse, non-male cast. The playwright specifies in the script that the actors are to be female-identifying, trans-identifying, gender fluid, and/or non-gender-conforming, but no cisgender white males. Even as she bases the play on the known history and Major John Wesley Powell's own journal of the events on his 1869 expedition, Jaclyn Backhaus flips the narrative by altering the nature of the cast of characters.

SplitMoon Theatre has just announced the premiere of a new production of Demons at St Leonard's Church in Shoreditch. Dramatised from Dostoevsky's novel by Peter Sturm, who also directs, the site-responsive show will run from 25 October to 11 November 2017 and coincide with the Centenary of the Russian Revolution.
