THE SUNSET LIMITED by Pulitzer Prize-winner Cormac McCarthy opens Rubicon Theatre Company's 16th Season on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m., just on the heels of the October 25 release of McCarthy's highly anticipated blockbuster film 'The Counselor,' directed by Ridley Scott with an all-star cast including Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz.

On September 12, some of Broadway's brightest talents sang completely new arrangements of the hits of Amy Winehouse in the most recent concert of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series. More than 20 Broadway performers were accompanied by a full band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the English singer's greatest songs. The concert is the fifth of the series; previously honored were Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Stevie Wonder. The cast will feature Karen Mason as Sue. Ms. Mason has appeared in Broadway'sWonderland, Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Play Me a Country Song as well as Goodspeed's Heartbeats at The Norma Terris Theatre. Opposite her as Dan will be Tony-nominated Mark Jacoby whose credits include Broadway's Elf, Sweeney Todd, Man of La Mancha, Ragtime,Showboat, Grand Hotel, The Phantom of the Opera and Sweet Charity. Mr. Jacoby performed at the Goodspeed Opera House in On The Twentieth Century.

Broadway San Jose, a partnership between the Nederlander organization of New York and Team San Jose, announced the six shows in its 2013-14 Season today at an event attended by approximately 500 Subscribers and community leaders at the San Jose Center for Performing Arts in downtown San Jose. Headlining the Broadway San Jose season will be a three-week run of WICKED, the Tony Award winning musical that maintains its position as the top selling musical on Broadway, nine years after its premiere.
