Disney on Broadway Offering '2-For-1' Specials

Disney Theatrical Productions today announced their partnership with The Broadway League and NYC & Company to offer 2-for-1 tickets to its signature blockbuster musicals, The Lion King and Mary Poppins, for the first ever 'Broadway Week' taking place from January 24 - February 10, 2011.

On the 200th Episode of 'Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show' (Season 11), the cast of MARY POPPINS, led by Caroline Sheen as Mary and Nicolas Dromard as Bert, will perform the show-stopping tap dance number 'Step in Time,' in-studio on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2 (8:00pm-9:30pm, ET), during a special 90-minute broadcast on the ABC Television Network.

The best of Broadway was presented free on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2010' - a lunchtime series which began on Thursday, July 8th at 12:30pm on the Bryant Park Stage and ended yesterday, August 12. The series, which just completed its 10 season, was sponsored by Bank of America and JCPenney 33rd & 6th, and washosted by Lite fm's on-air personalities.

MARY POPPINS, Broadway's perfectly magical musical, is pleased to welcome all new Banks children to the Broadway cast: alternating the role of Jane Banks is Catherine Missal, Rachel Resheff and Rozi Baker; alternating the role of Michael Banks is Christopher Flaim, David Gabriel Lerner and Ethan Haberfield (Missal and Flaim began performances on Tuesday, May 18; Resheff and Lerner began on Tuesday, May 25; Baker and Haberfield will begin on Friday, June 4). Flaim, Lerner and Haberfield will mark their official Broadway debut with the production.

The album is filled with passionate, seductive interpretations of a wide range of songs covering jazz and Broadway standards. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes treated daughter Suri Cruise to evening out at the Ahmanson Theatre to see the LA engagement of the beloved stage musical, MARY POPPINS. This is the second time Suri has seen the world's most famous nanny on stage. Katie brought her to see the smash hit Broadway production in August 2008 during NY rehearsals for her own Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's All My Sons.
