The 2010 Festival of New American Musicals, a three month musical theatre festival, will be held May 16 through August 21 2010, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the annual festival, now in its third year.

Back by popular demand! Staged Reading of 'Love Letters' by A. R. Gurney, featuring Shari Mezrah & Scott Shimberg. The reading will take place Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 7:30pm in the Shimberg Playhouse, Straz Center. 'Love Letters' is directed by Elaine Shimberg and produced by Andrea Graham. This is a benefit for Stageworks' Building Fund for our Channel District Theatre.

The New York Times has confirmed that LOVE NEVER DIES will now aim for a spring opening on Broadway due to Andrew Lloyd Webber's health problems. LOVE NEVER DIES was scheduled to open on Broadway on November 11, 2010. Reportedly, Webber is experiencing 'post-operative problems' from his recent treatment for prostate cancer, a rep for the production told the New York Times today. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, speculation of a delay began weeks ago following the tally of mixed reviews for the production, which opened at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End on March 9.

Offering up greater variety, including more than 50 debuts from Sting to Wagnerian tenor John Treleaven, Ravinia Festival Chairperson Pamela B.
