Today, 23 March 2012, the National Theatre's internationally award-winning production of War Horse releases over 250,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings at the New London Theatre to 26 October 2013.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre continues its 30-year tradition of bringing Broadway shows to St. Louis audiences with the announcement of its 2012-2013 U.S. Bank Broadway Series. Celebrating 30 years of Fabulous Broadway in 2012, Fox Associates presents a seven-show subscription package featuring Broadway's Tony Award®-winners and classic favorites. THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine 2011 Tony Awards® including Best Musical headlines this season as it makes its Fox debut. Also making its first St. Louis appearance is WAR HORSE, the 2011 Tony Award®-winner for Best Play. Other new shows include current Broadway shows PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. ANYTHING GOES, winner of the 2011 Tony Award® for Best Musical Revival, will set sail for St. Louis and the classic LES MISÉRABLES will return to the Fox Theatre stage in an all-new 25th Anniversary production. BLUE MAN GROUP will make a stop at the Fox during its first U.S. theatrical tour. U.S. Bank Broadway Series subscribers will also have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for St. Louis favorites WICKED, STOMP, and ROCK OF AGES which will be featured as off-series specials.
LES MIS, WICKED, WAR HORSE & More Set for Fifth Third Bank Broadway Series 2012-13

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway in Columbus (BIC) today announced the 2012-13 Fifth Third Bank Broadway Series season. Four of the productions on the five-show subscription series have never before been seen in Columbus, including Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Million Dollar Quartet, Green Day's American Idiot, and War Horse, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards including Best Play. Disney's Beauty and the Beast, presented by NETworks, will also return to Columbus to kick off the new season. In addition to the five-show season package, season specials will include the return of Les Miserables and Wicked.

Hollywood celebrated its biggest night of the year last weekend, and nine well-deserved movies were up for 'Best Picture.' On February 26, viewers tuned in to find out which film would take home the Oscar- The Descendants, Moneyball, The Help, Hugo, War Horse, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Artist, The Tree of Life or Midnight in Paris.
This brings us to last week's poll-'Which 2012 'Best Picture' Nominee Would You Like to See on Broadway?' And the winner, with 40% of the vote was The Help!
