On Saturday, September 5, 2009 through Monday, September 7, 2009, the Kennedy Center hosts its eighth annual Page-to-Stage New Play Festival, featuring more than 30 theaters from the D.C. metropolitan area, all with a mission to produce and support new work. Bruffy will be moving to Salt Lake City, Utah to become the new Executive Artistic Director at the Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC). False Idols Fall Productions will present the world premiere of Michael Hyman's LOVE WILL TEAR US APART at the Hudson Guild Theatre (6539 Santa Monica Blvd.) in Hollywood. Hyman also directs this play about love, loss, and one's immortality, as a young gay man wanders through the memories of his past loves. Performances run October 16 - November 22, 2009, with the official press opening on Saturday, October 17.
