PETER AND THE STARCATCHER continues the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's Marx Theatre season with an inspired, hilarious and epic Peter Pan prequel that mixes grown-up fun for adults, ample silliness for children and storytelling magic for the kid in us all. The captivating winner of five Tony Awards, adapted for the stage by Rick Elice from the Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson novel, will bring Neverland to new life March 7 through April 4.

Sutton Foster to Make Solo Carnegie Hall Debut with the New York Pops in March

On March 13, 2015, The New York Pops continues its 31st season with two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in her solo debut at Carnegie Hall. Among other musical standards, Foster will reprise her unforgettable performances of "Anything Goes" and "I Get a Kick Out of You" from her Tony Award-winning turn as Reno Sweeney in the Cole Porter classic. She will also offer her own take on "Down with Love," made famous by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. Foster will be joined by special guest artists Joshua Henry and Megan McGinnis, who will sing the showstopper "Let It Sing" from Violet, and the touching "Neverland" from Peter Pan.

Tony-and Emmy Award-winning production designer Derek McLane has received two nominations for this year's 19th annual Excellence in Production Design Awards. McLane will compete against himself in the Awards or Event Special category with his designs for the "86th Annual Academy Awards" and "Peter Pan Live!" The awards will be presented on January 31 from the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, with comedian Owen Benjamin as host.

The colorful croc in NBC's PETER PAN LIVE! on Thursday night drew more attention than we could have anticipated. 'The Croc' was trending nationally on Twitter for a significant portion of broadcast, but the real question was: who was under that suit? Tony nominee (and SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! alumna) Laura Benanti jokingly claimed it was she, but the real man behind the broadcast's breakout star was Charlie Williams.

Children's Theatre Company has announced that Alanna Saunders, who plays Tiger Lily in NBC's Peter Pan Live, will play Wendy in this spring's Peter Pan the Musical. Joining her will be 2014 Ivey Award-winner for Emerging Artist Tyler Michaels in the title role. Audience favorite Reed Sigmund, now in his 15th season as a CTC Acting Company member, brings his signature style to the loathsome, tortured Captain Hook. Peter Pan the Musical runs April 21 through June 21, 2015 on the UnitedHealth Group Stage and is directed by Peter Rothstein.
